Linda Maria Wayner is an attorney, professor, and problem solver. She works with diplomats, businesses, sovereigns, and individuals to resolve high-stake disputes. Linda is presently a Visiting Professor at Brooklyn Law School, and she also teaches International Commercial Arbitration at the Elisabeth Haub School of Law at Pace University.

For more than 20 years, Linda has expertly handled arbitrations, mediations, and complex lawsuits in a wide variety of jurisdictions and industries. She began her career as an arbitration lawyer and litigator at Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom LLP. Linda next served as General Counsel for International Affairs for Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg in New York City. She then led the Latinx Institute for Human Rights at NYU School of Law as Executive Director, where she worked with students and faculty on academic and advocacy initiatives. Linda has since established her own arbitration and mediation practice, where she now represents individuals and businesses in international arbitration or litigation proceedings.

Linda is a graduate of Baylor University and the University of Michigan School of Law. She has served as a Deputy President of the Hispanic National Bar Association’s New York Region. Linda recently concluded a term on the board of Pipeline to Practice, a national non-profit devoted to diversity in the legal profession.
